Pigeon Drone Delivery | Green Screen Composite

December, 2016

This is a video assignment for the "Compositing & VFX" module of my BA (Hons) Digital Media Arts degree at the University of Surrey. Here we were told to create a 10-60 second video, inspired by the phrase “Visit to the World’s Fair-2064". It also had to include either 1) a matchmove, 2) stock footage, 3) motion graphics or 4) CG.

I created this green screen composite, my first ever, using Nuke's node-based compositing software. The project has been challenging and I've had a few issues which show slightly in the end piece. However, I feel I have learnt the basics of compositing and with more time I feel I would be capable of creating crisp, clean greenscreen composites.
The UI of the Pigeon Drone Delivery app was created with Adobe XD. It is overlaid at the beginning of the video.
This poster was created with Adobe Illustrator and is featured in the background of my shot.
